Happy hump day, readers! We made it half way through the week 🙌🏻 AND it’s beginning to (finally) feel a lot like fall! 🎃🍂🐿 I love the cool morning air and warm afternoon sunshine – it helps make the getting-dark-early-part of fall bareable. 😌
As we’re moving into the cooler weather comes fun & fresh patterns & textures to rock!! For me, it’s primarily in the office. 💁🏻 hey, who said office-ware can’t be stylish?!
So I’m obsessed with lace! However, lace can be either classy or trashy (IMO). BUT Loft never fails @ showcasing some pretty rad lace, especially this tunic!
I discovered this gem at the Loft Outlet this past weekend, and I’ve linked a similar one here from Madewell. 😊 I paired this with a pair of simple Columnsit black pants from EXPRESS, along with these KILLER leopard hide/black booties! Oh my gah. 😍 talk about a statement shoe! The mix of lace & leopard print in one outfit is my FAVORITE combo so far this season!
I spotted these at G.H. Bass Outlet and new they were winners. It’s like business in the back and party in the front! 🎉 If you’re ever on the hunt for good shoes that are stylish but don’t break the bank, check out G.H. Bass & Co. (they always have great sales, too).
I finished off the look with loose curls, a pigmented rosey-pink lipstick (Kate Moss, 17) and a pendant necklace, and violá!
What is your top fall look, for work or play?! How do you mix your textures & patterns? 🎀 I’d love to hear!
Happy Sunday, babes! ☕️ It’s finally feeling like the cool, crisp autumn we’ve been waiting for 🎃🍁🌞 PRAISE!
With this change in weather comes a shift in wardrobe. On a brief side note: I feel as though my taste in clothing has altered so much since graduating from college. Now, I search for staple pieces that can be worn in the office and out with the girls or my boyfriend at night. With that, I’m all about the sweaters, long or fitted, blanket scarves, plaid or solids and all the warm, dark fall colors! 🤗
I recently found this killer navy, double-peplum sweatshirt from Banana Republic. I’m obsessed! It’s pairs perfectly with these knee-ripped, high low hem jeans from Target, plus (throwback!) these gold mules by Franco Sarto (I found this pair at Mashall’s). Hi, yes! I’m over-the-moon-in-love with mules this season! They’re different, fun, casual & super easy for any outfit. You need to get a pair. Or five. 😉
What is your go-to weekend wear? Are there any colors or patterns you’re excited to rock this season?! I’d love to hear! 😀
Hi hi, readers! 🌞🍂 My favorite time of year is here, where the air smells of sea salt & maple everything, PSLs are all the rave & warm, dark florals are so in! 🌻
Aside from my obsessions with fall-scented candles & PSLs, I swoon over Target’s fall clothing pieces. Every. Single. Time! One of their newer lines, Who What Wear, is prime.
The bubble sleeves, the auburn florals & the pinstripes, SAY WHAAAT?! Yes. All in one. You need to check out this bubble sleeve shirt. No joke!
I love pieces that can easily transition from work to casual. Those are the pieces that build a staple wardrobe to can carry on for seasons. Pair this with a pair of navy pants and cognac heels, you’re set from 9-5. Switch it up for after hours with destroyed denim, a statement necklace & brown leather ankle booties.
Alright all! What is your favorite fall fashion piece/style/pattern? How do you rock it?! I’d love to hear! 🍁🌾
After we all indulged in heeping amounts of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pie, we all have so much to be thankful for– the list is endless.
I wanted to share my casual, chic Thanksgiving look from the day. I’ve recently become obsessed with dark teal! No the past I’ve been skeptical about sporting green-ish hues because of my hair color, but the dark teal is subtle. I paired this light Bar III dress too with dark jeans and classic navy flats that add a hint of sparkle with the accents, along with a neutral floral statement necklace to finish the look. ; )
Happy Tuesday, readers! We’re almost half way through the week, it’s almost the start of a new, fresh month- what more could you ask for?!
Tonight’s post is inspired by a recent find at Kohl’s and themed, “fashion on a budget.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Kohl’s fan, but I’m an even bigger fan of discovering one-of-a-kind items that can go with a variety of other pieces at a reasonable price (under $30 for the top shown below). This fitted baby doll sweater top is light and so chic. I love the neutrals and blush colors mixed in with the floral- colorful while perfect for fall! The ruffles around the hem add a bit more pop of “girly!”
This LC Lauren Conrad top paired nicely with the grey/green jeans and Style&Co mocha leather booties- a fun “Falling for Fall” outfit!
Words of advice: never buy clothes just “to have”… You need to love the pieces, otherwise, 99% of the time they’ll sit in your closet, unworn. Buy items that can be worn with pieces you have- you’ll be happier with your purchases in the long-run! It’s also a phenomenal feeling when you find that perfect item at a discount… Makes it even more worth while.
Do you have a favorite patterned piece that you like to wear with different outfits!? Let me hear!
