Happy hump day, readers! We made it half way through the week 🙌🏻 AND it’s beginning to (finally) feel a lot like fall! 🎃🍂🐿 I love the cool morning air and warm afternoon sunshine – it helps make the getting-dark-early-part of fall bareable. 😌
As we’re moving into the cooler weather comes fun & fresh patterns & textures to rock!! For me, it’s primarily in the office. 💁🏻 hey, who said office-ware can’t be stylish?!
So I’m obsessed with lace! However, lace can be either classy or trashy (IMO). BUT Loft never fails @ showcasing some pretty rad lace, especially this tunic!
I discovered this gem at the Loft Outlet this past weekend, and I’ve linked a similar one here from Madewell. 😊 I paired this with a pair of simple Columnsit black pants from EXPRESS, along with these KILLER leopard hide/black booties! Oh my gah. 😍 talk about a statement shoe! The mix of lace & leopard print in one outfit is my FAVORITE combo so far this season!
I spotted these at G.H. Bass Outlet and new they were winners. It’s like business in the back and party in the front! 🎉 If you’re ever on the hunt for good shoes that are stylish but don’t break the bank, check out G.H. Bass & Co. (they always have great sales, too).
I finished off the look with loose curls, a pigmented rosey-pink lipstick (Kate Moss, 17) and a pendant necklace, and violá!
What is your top fall look, for work or play?! How do you mix your textures & patterns? 🎀 I’d love to hear!
Happy Tuesday – and Election Day, all! No matter your views and values, every vote counts. 🇺🇸😀
I made it into work super early (this time change is already throwing me… but I love it in the mornings!), and wanted to do a quick #ootd (outfit of the day post). While it’s not very “American-themed” like I feel everyone at work will be dressed, it’s a fun twist on some fall faves with a casual tunic. 😉
I’ve had this medium-cream tunic for months and was never thrilled with accessories I paired it with. The burgundy tights, tank, ruffle socks + booties are the perfect matches for it! It feels very fall yet still comfy + chic.
I added a simple gold bar necklace for a bit of added texture.
Where can YOU get your hands on these pieces?
Vernacular: tunic (visit them @shopvernacular on IG or online)
Tights + necklace: target
Socks: Kroger Marketplace – hey, no shame 😉
Franco Sarto booties: Nordstrom Rack 👌🏻
Ahh, it’s your turn! What’s your outfit of the day?!
Happy Monday, all! I hope you had a fun & relaxing weekend… But back to reality/work-grind today! 👊🏻🌻
So big question: do you ever open your closet and think all I have are neautrals?! How can o make any of this work together? I wonder this (probably) on a daily basis as I’m getting ready for work. WELL, no need to worry. Neutrals can look fabulous together!
I paired a few neutral pieces together to form these outfits last week and loved them as much as when I add a pop of color or bold pattern to an outfit!
On a bit of a brighter neautral side are browns, navy and white… with a bit of pattern and sparkle ✨😉
I recently saw a quote from Bill Cunningham: “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life.” This resonates with my passion for fashion and why I enjoy creating a wardrobe that I love and experiencing this ever-changing industry.
Now, let’s hear what some of your fave neutral pieces or outfits are!! ✨🌻💕
Hi, hi all! My… I feel like I say this (literally) every time, but I can’t stand how I never find time to blog. It was one of my August intentions to work on creating time… But hey, it’s not quite mid-August yet. 😉
Along with setting aside time, I’ve moved into my new apartment (pics in my next post on decor) and started a new job– Eeekk! So many new chapters and fresh beginnings– I’m already loving it! 🌸✨
With that being said, I needed to work on morphing my wardrobe to fit a more business casual/business formal look. I’ve been so use to wearing jeans everyday and I knew this would be quite the transition! Definitely in a good way though. 👗👠
I’m a girl who loves clothes. Sometimes it’s tough to control my obsession, especially working part-time at my fav boutique, but clothing and accessories are my outlet of expression. So I have as much fun with it as I want!
I finished my first week at my new job with a fun tri-colored skirt, classic white blouse, jean jacket and low-heeled nude pumps with a clear-jeweled statement necklace. A little bit of pattern mixed with some classic pieces goes a long way!
What are some of your favorite office chic outfits?!
